Solutions
Use more renewable resources
Put laws on the amount of logging
Put laws on the amount of fossil fuel burning
Emphasis on reduce, reuse, and recycle
Negative: Humans have altered the Taiga biome in a negative way by logging, drilling for oil, global warming, and acid rain. All four of these examples lead to habitat loss, environmental change, and possibly extinction for some species. In 1994 more than 150,000 were spilled in the republic of Komi in Russia alone. Since 2000 carbon emission have been rising by an average of 3.4% annually. Positive: Humans have done some positive things in the Taiga as well. For example we have controlled random wildfires, protected native species, removing invasive species, breeding and release of endangered animals, and using renewable energy sources.
